All matter contains electrically-charged particles. When the balance of electric charges is altered, we experience electrical effects. When energies are in harmony we prosper in mind, body and spirit; if energies are found to be discordant, not in harmony, disease and illness can occur and persist.

Our bodies are dependent on the natural energies of the earth and sun to sustain and renew us. Electrical effects in society's use of electricity (generation, transmission and consumption produce EMF's), levels of electromagnetic fields from human made sources have dramatically and steadily increased over the last 100 years from increased use of electricity and new electronic technologies. As the technology of electronics has increased so has 'Electromagnetic Pollution'.

EMF's represent one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences; all populations are now exposed to varying degrees of EMF, and the levels will continue to increase as technology advances.

In 2002, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), an agency of the World Health Organization, completed an evaluation of EMF and carcinogenic risks to humans, IARC concluded that EMF should be classified as a Group 2B carcinogen (possibly carcinogenic to humans); for this classification is childhood leukemia. There are over 200 agents in Group 2B, most of which are not currently regulated.

A multi-million dollar NY State study involving seven scientists ordered by the Public Service Commission targeted to refute a Denver Study, "I was very surprised...it was likely that 10% to 15% of all cases of childhood cancer came from one particular type of exposure to magnetic fields - that being residential distribution electric power lines," said Dr. Dean Carpenter, Dean, School of Public Health, Albany, NY.

Automobiles, airplane travel, cell phones, CD players, electrical appliances, light fixtures, microwave ovens, TV's and Radios all emit EMF's.
