The agency now lists mobile phone use in the same "carcinogenic hazard" category as lead, engine exhaust and chloroform. This was the scientific conclusion relayed by a working group of 31 scientists from 14 countries meeting at the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer (WHO/IARC) who completed a review of the available scientific evidence on cell-phone radiation and brain tumors.  This leaves most people very concerned about how they should protect themselves from this emerging threat.
